Getting Started

Getting Started

Create your account, set up your first overlay, and get ready to go live with Livecade.

Livecade turns your TikTok Live stream into an interactive game show. Viewers join in from chat and gifts, and the action plays out on a browser overlay you drop into OBS. This guide walks you through everything from sign-up to your first live game.

Create your account

Head to the dashboard and sign up with Google or Discord. There is a free plan to start, so you can set everything up before going live.

Once you are in, you will land on the control panel. This is where you pick a game, manage your live session, and watch viewer activity in real time.

Add the overlay to OBS

Livecade renders games as a browser source, so anything that supports a browser source works (OBS, Streamlabs, and similar).

  1. In the dashboard, copy your overlay URL.
  2. In OBS, add a new Browser source.
  3. Paste the overlay URL and set the resolution to match your canvas.
  4. Position the overlay where you want it on screen.

Keep the overlay source at the top of your scene so games render above your camera and background.

Pick a game

From the control panel, choose a game to load. Each game has its own settings, like round length and how viewers interact. You can preview a game before going live to make sure it looks right in your scene.

Next steps

When your overlay is in place and a game is loaded, you are ready to connect your stream. See Connect to TikTok Live to go live.
