Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 13, 2026

Livecade ("we", "us", or "our") operates the livecade.io platform. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

1. Information We Collect

Account information

When you register, we collect your email address, name, and password (stored as a bcrypt hash — we never store your plain-text password). If you sign in via Google or Discord OAuth, we receive your name and email from that provider.

TikTok usernames

You voluntarily provide TikTok usernames to connect your streams. We store these usernames to identify which TikTok Live stream to connect to. We do not store your TikTok password or access tokens.

Usage data

We collect session activity including game sessions started, session duration, peak viewer counts, and total event counts. This data is used to display statistics in your dashboard and to improve the platform.

Uploaded files

Sound files and GIF images you upload to the DJ Pad feature are stored in Cloudflare R2 object storage. These files are associated with your account and served only during your live sessions.

Log data

Our servers automatically record IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps for security and debugging purposes. These logs are retained for 30 days.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To operate and deliver the Livecade service
  • To authenticate your account and keep it secure
  • To connect to your TikTok Live stream during active sessions
  • To send transactional emails (account verification, password reset, billing and renewal notices)
  • To send product updates, which you can unsubscribe from at any time
  • To process payments, and to answer refund requests, payment disputes and chargebacks
  • To display session statistics in your dashboard
  • To diagnose bugs and improve platform reliability

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your account data for advertising.

3. Data Sharing

We share data with the following third parties only as necessary to operate the service:

  • Cloudflare R2 — file storage for uploaded sounds and GIFs
  • Google / Discord — only if you choose to sign in via OAuth
  • TikTok — we connect to TikTok's public live stream API to receive viewer events (comments, gifts, likes) on your behalf
  • Euler Stream signs our requests to TikTok's live service, which includes the TikTok username of the LIVE we connect to.
  • Postmark and Resend deliver our emails. Postmark sends account and billing emails, and Resend sends product updates, which you can unsubscribe from.
  • Google Analytics measures visits to our marketing website, livecade.io, according to your cookie choices (see section 7). The dashboard is not tracked.
  • Payment processors (Creem, PayPal, Dodo Payments and NOWPayments) handle your payment when you buy a plan. If you open a refund request, payment dispute or chargeback, we share the records of that purchase, the consent you gave at checkout and your use of the paid features with the processor handling it.

We do not share your data with any other third parties.

4. Data Retention

Your account data is retained for as long as your account is active. Session history is retained indefinitely to power your dashboard statistics. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing contact@livecade.io.

If you made a payment and then delete your account, we keep a record of your purchases, the consent you gave at checkout, your sign-in IP addresses and devices, and your use of the paid features. We keep it only for as long as tax law requires and to answer refund requests, payment disputes and chargebacks, and we do not use it for anything else. Accounts that never made a payment are deleted completely.

5. Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. Database backups are encrypted. We run on a private VPS with restricted access. While we take reasonable precautions, no system is perfectly secure — please use a strong, unique password.

6. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
  • Object to or restrict processing of your data
  • Data portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format

To exercise any of these rights, email contact@livecade.io. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Cookies

The Livecade dashboard (app.livecade.io) uses only cookies it needs to work: one keeps you signed in, and one holds your account id so that our servers can send your requests to the one running your live session. It does not use analytics or advertising cookies.

Our marketing website (livecade.io) uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, which sets analytics cookies, and, if you allow marketing cookies, Google advertising cookies that measure our ads. You can accept or refuse analytics and marketing cookies in the cookie banner, and change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.

8. Children

Livecade is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the platform evolves. We will notify registered users by email for any material changes. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.

10. Contact
