Copyright and reports
Last updated: October 27, 2026
Livecade lets creators add their own content to their TikTok LIVE streams. Uploads are prepared automatically and are not reviewed by a person before they can be used, so we rely on reports. If something hosted on Livecade infringes your rights, or is illegal or harmful, tell us here and we will act on it.
1. What creators upload
- Pictures, GIFs, videos and sounds used in games
- Sounds for the DJ pad, and music
- Question banks and other game content
- Clips shown with the Clip Machine
- AI Host characters: 3D model files that appear and talk on stream
Each upload is used only in the stream of the creator who uploaded it. We do not publish galleries or lists of uploads, so you will usually have seen the content on a creator's live stream rather than on our website. That is fine: the creator's TikTok username and what you saw is enough for us to find it.
2. Report a copyright infringement
To report content that infringes your copyright, send us a notice with all of the following. These are the elements the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. §512(c)(3)) requires, and they also make a complete notice under the EU Digital Services Act.
- The work: the copyrighted work you believe is infringed, or a list of works if there are several.
- The material and where it is: what you believe infringes it and enough to find it. On Livecade this is usually the TikTok username of the stream where you saw it, what it looked or sounded like, and roughly when. Include a link if you have one.
- Your contact details: your name, postal address, phone number and email address, and who you act for if you are not the owner.
- A good faith statement: that you have a good faith belief that the use described is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- An accuracy statement: that the information in your notice is accurate, and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner, or authorized to act on behalf of the owner, of the right that is allegedly infringed.
- Your signature: physical or electronic. Typing your full name is enough.
Send it with the form below, or by email to copyright@livecade.io.
Where notices go
Copyright notices go to copyright@livecade.io, by email or with the form below. They reach the people who review them.
Before you send a notice, consider whether the use may be permitted, for example as fair use. Under 17 U.S.C. §512(f), anyone who knowingly misrepresents that material is infringing may be liable for damages. We may share your notice, including your name and contact details, with the creator who uploaded the material so that they can respond.
3. What happens next
- We confirm that we received your notice. The form shows a reference at once; email gets a reply.
- We review it, normally within 2 working days. If it is incomplete, we ask you for what is missing.
- If it is valid, we remove the material or disable access to it, including removing it from our content delivery network, and it stops showing on the creator's streams.
- We tell the creator what was removed and why, and how to send a counter-notice.
- We tell you what we decided.
4. If your content was removed: counter-notice
If you are the creator and you believe your content was removed because of a mistake or because it was misidentified, you can send a counter-notice to copyright@livecade.io with all of the following (17 U.S.C. §512(g)(3)):
- Your physical or electronic signature (your typed full name).
- What was removed, and where it was before (for example, the name of your AI Host character).
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, postal address and phone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the US Federal District Court for the judicial district of your address (or, if your address is outside the United States, any judicial district in which Livecade may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the notice, or their agent.
We send your counter-notice, including your contact details, to the person who sent the notice. We restore the material 10 to 14 business days after we receive your counter-notice, unless they tell us within that time that they have filed a court action to stop the use. If you think a removal for another reason was wrong, reply to the message that told you about it and explain why.
5. Repeat infringers
We keep a record of the valid notices against each account. An account that receives repeated valid notices loses the ability to upload, and in appropriate circumstances the account is terminated. Files removed after a valid notice cannot be uploaded again, by anyone.
6. Other reports
For content that is illegal or breaks our rules for another reason, use the form below with "Something else", or email abuse@livecade.io. This includes:
- Sexual content, and anything involving the sexual abuse or exploitation of a child
- Graphic violence, threats, or hate
- A real person's likeness or voice used without their consent
- Any other content you believe is illegal
You may report content involving the sexual abuse of a child without giving your name or email address. Threats to someone's life or safety are passed to the authorities. What we allow and do not allow in uploads is set out in our Terms of Service.
7. For users in the European Union
This page, the form below and the addresses above are our notice and action mechanism under the Digital Services Act. A notice should explain why you believe the content is illegal, say where it is, and give your name and email address (except for reports of child sexual abuse), with a statement that you believe the information is accurate and complete. We decide on each notice in a timely, careful and objective way and tell you the result. When we remove or restrict content, we send the creator who uploaded it a statement of the reasons, with the facts we relied on and how they can contest it.
