Can Livecade read TikTok comments out loud?
Yes. Turn on the comment reader and viewers comments are spoken on your stream, with adjustable speed and a maximum length so nobody can hijack the mic with a wall of text.
Why does text to speech not work in OBS with other tools?
OBS browser sources run on Chromium Embedded Framework, which has no speech synthesis backend. Anything built on the browser speech API is silently dead there. Livecade generates the speech audio itself and plays it through the overlay audio, so it works in OBS.
Which languages are supported?
There are 16 voices across 11 languages: English (US and UK), Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Polish, Romanian, Russian, Turkish, and Arabic.
Can I stop it reading certain words?
Yes. A default profanity filter is on by default and you can add your own mute words. Anything matching is skipped rather than read out.
