Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Livecade ("Service"), operated by Livecade ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Livecade is a platform that allows TikTok Live creators to add interactive games to their streams via an OBS browser source overlay. Viewers participate by typing comments, sending gifts, and liking the stream. Game logic runs entirely on our servers.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Livecade. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you must have parental consent.
3. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must not share your password or allow others to access your account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@livecade.io if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Livecade to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users or viewers
- Upload content that is illegal, obscene, defamatory, or infringes third-party intellectual property rights
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract game logic, scoring formulas, or question banks from the platform
- Use automated tools to scrape or abuse the API
- Interfere with the platform's infrastructure or other users' sessions
- Misrepresent your identity or impersonate another person
5. TikTok Integration
Livecade connects to TikTok's public live stream data on your behalf. You are responsible for complying with TikTok's own Terms of Service and Community Guidelines while using Livecade. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by TikTok.
6. Uploaded Content
You retain ownership of any sound files and GIF images you upload. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to store and serve that content during your live sessions. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to use any content you upload. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms.
7. Intellectual Property
All platform code, game logic, UI, and branding are the intellectual property of Livecade. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission. Your uploaded content and TikTok username remain yours.
8. Free Tier and Watermark
The free tier of Livecade includes a Livecade watermark displayed on your overlay. You must not attempt to hide, obscure, or remove the watermark while on the free tier. Paid plans (when available) will offer watermark removal.
9. Service Availability
We aim to keep Livecade available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, introduce updates, or experience outages. We are not liable for any loss resulting from service unavailability.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time by emailing support@livecade.io. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted. Your use of the Service is at your own risk.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Livecade shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as the platform evolves. We will notify registered users by email for material changes. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Denmark, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Denmark.
